We Believe:

Core Truths
1. Holy Bible: Divinely inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Corinthians 1:12-13)
2. Triune God: One living and true God, existing in three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
3. Fall of Man: All humans are born with a sinful nature and are sinners by choice. (Romans 5:6-19)
4. Jesus Christ: Fully God and fully man yet without sin – died in our place and for our sins. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7; Colossians 1:19, 29)
5. Salvation: All who repent and trust Jesus Christ as Savior are made alive.
6. Baptism: A mark of our union with him and his body.
7. Holy Spirit: Tangible experience of God’s empowering presence – abides within all believers, setting them apart – guiding, strengthening, and teaching us.
8. The Church: Universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and local church – company of believers, tasked with making the good news of Jesus known to the world.
9. Lord’s Supper: An expression of our participation in his death and eternal life. (1 Corinthians 11:23-25)
10. Discipleship: Spirit-filled life and the ongoing work of the Spirit to transform the believer’s character. (Ephesians 4:13)
11. Last Things: Personal and visible return of Jesus to the earth to judge the living and the dead. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
